Polyaspartic Flake Floor System | Miller Industries Hangar Workshop

At Chattanooga Floor Care, we take pride in delivering floors that perform as beautifully as they look. One of our latest projects—a 1,918 sqft. Polyaspartic Flake Floor System for Miller Industries at Lovell Field—showcases our commitment to quality, efficiency, and long-term durability.

Contracted through Dillard Construction, this project was completed in just three days, transforming a standard concrete slab into a high-gloss, high-performance surface built to handle the daily demands of an active industrial hangar workshop.

Expert Surface Preparation

Every great floor starts with great prep. Our team began by grinding the concrete with diamond tooling, removing the surface cream and opening the pores of the slab to achieve a Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) level 3–5. This crucial step ensures proper adhesion and long-lasting performance of the coating system—a detail we never overlook.

Industrial-Strength Seal System

We then applied an industrial-grade coating system customized to the client’s specifications. This multi-layer approach provides superior chemical resistance, durability, and a sleek, professional finish.

  • Layer 1: SurfKoat 250HP Epoxy with full flake aggregate broadcast

  • Layer 2: SurfKoat GL90 Polyaspartic topcoat

  • Color: Torginol “Agate” (FB-4107)

  • Flake Size: Mixed blend

  • Sheen: Gloss

The result? A sleek, seamless floor that not only enhances the visual appeal of the hangar workshop but also delivers long-lasting protection against wear, impact, and spills.

Built to Last. Designed to Impress.

From surface preparation to final coat, every step of this project reflects our focus on precision, performance, and professionalism. The completed floor is easy to maintain, durable under heavy use, and looks every bit as refined as the operation it supports.

Whether it’s an industrial hangar, commercial facility, or specialty workspace, our team delivers flooring systems that stand the test of time.
